From time to time we may be unable to meet our usual delivery times due to certain items being out of stock or with special customization. All orders are normally dispatched within 4 working days. If the item is out of stock or requires special customization we aim to dispatch these items within 10-15 working days. If there is likely to be a delay we inform you as soon as possible.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within three working days. Please email info@oico.co.uk or call us on +44 20 32909042. If for any reason we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise you on how long we expect it will take and keep you fully informed throughout the process.
WARRANTY
Unless otherwise agreed by the parties in writing the warranty of the Goods supplied shall be as stated in the Product Literature. Where no Product Literature is provided, the Company warrants that it will provide, at its option, the replacement or repair of defective materials and/or defective workmanship in the Goods which would not be apparent on a reasonable examination of the Goods upon delivery, for a period of Twelve months from the date of delivery.
Repairs must be carried out ONLY by authorised agents of the Company. Any unauthorised attempt by the Purchaser, or any other third party, to carry out repairs on the Goods shall render this warranty invalid.
The Company warrants that the Goods shall be fit for their intended purpose as described by the Product Literature. Where no Product Literature is provided, the Company warrants that the Goods shall be fit for their intended purpose as attributed by Good Medical Practice.
Subject to the provision of this warranty and any conditions contained in any Product Literature, all warranties and conditions implied by statute or otherwise are hereby EXCLUDED. The statutory rights of any Purchaser acting as a Consumer shall not be affected.
Warranties in respect of Goods provided to or within non-European Union member countries shall apply in that country only.
RETURNS
Goods may only be returned to the Company with the prior consent of the Company and on terms to be determined at the absolute discretion of the Company and must be securely packed and, unless the carrier effecting the return is instructed by the Company, must be consigned carriage paid and fully insured. Goods returned without the prior written approval of the Company may at the Company's absolute discretion be returned to the Purchaser or retained at the Purchaser's costs without prejudice to any rights or remedies the Company may have. Ophthalmic Instrument Company Ltd complies with EU legislation governing the right to return product bought on the internet within seven days.
Returns greater than 7 days will incur a 10% restocking fee to cover handling charges. This fee is at the company's absolute discretion
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
Will be in accordance with your statutory rights unless expressly otherwise agreed by the company.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
1.18 All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations.
1.19 Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
1.20 To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email or phone about cancelling the order before the cancellation period has expired.
1.21 If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the order.
1.22 We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
1.23 Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.
